PROTOTYPE Region names, populations, shelters and the risk model are fictional / simulated. Weather (Open-Meteo) and earthquake (USGS) inputs are live where labelled LIVE; anything labelled SIMULATED is generated in your browser. This is not official government or emergency data. In a real emergency, call your local emergency number (112 in India).

Live Data Feeds Connecting

Real current weather from Open-Meteo and real earthquakes from the USGS feed are fed into the risk calculation and refresh automatically. Region names stay fictional, so each region is tied to a real-world reference point. If a feed fails, its values are never estimated: the affected zones fall back to the labelled SIMULATED model.

Live readings by regionReference points

Signals are 0–100 inputs to the risk model, not official warnings. Rain columns show the past ~24 h and the next 24 h (model forecast).

Earthquakes near the reference pointsUSGS · last 24 h

Weather data by Open-Meteo.com (CC BY 4.0). Earthquake data from the U.S. Geological Survey. Outside the US the USGS feed is only complete for larger events (roughly M4.5+), so an empty list does not mean no tremors occurred.

    Disaster Overview

Hazard picture for the fictional RakshNova monitoring region. Each card is labelled LIVE when its zones use live Open-Meteo / USGS inputs and SIMULATED otherwise. Select a card to pre-load that hazard into the risk analysis.

    02 · AI risk analysis

    Risk Analysis Engine

Choose a scenario and run the analysis. The score comes from a transparent, rule-based model — not a real predictive model. It uses live readings when they are available and says so; otherwise it is fully simulated.

    Scenario inputsSimulated
    Population density
    How the simulated score works

Risk % = 40% location hazard exposure for the chosen disaster + 35% severity + 25% population density, plus an amplifier when exposure and severity are both very high. Levels: Low < 30, Moderate 30–54, High 55–77, Critical 78+.

Live inputs. When the feed for the chosen region is LIVE, exposure blends the region's static susceptibility with a live 0–1 signal. Flood, fire and weather: 60% susceptibility + 40% live signal. Earthquake: susceptibility plus 70% of its remaining headroom × the live signal (quiet periods never lower it, because earthquakes cannot be predicted).

Flood signal = rain over the past 24 h, forecast 24 h and the rate now. Fire = heat, dryness and gusts, damped by recent rain. Weather = gusts, rain rate, peak hourly rain and thunderstorm codes. Earthquake = magnitude and distance of USGS events within 300 km in the last 24 h. A small random variation is added only in SIMULATED mode.

    Early Warning Alerts 0

Alerts come from zone risk scores (LIVE-informed where a live feed is available, SIMULATED otherwise) and from your own analyses. Each alert is labelled. Critical alerts trigger the emergency banner. These are prototype signals, not official warnings.

    High-Risk Zone Map

A stylised map of a fictional region. A green dot on a marker means that zone currently uses live inputs. Select a zone marker to inspect risk, people affected and the recommended response.
